Words from Vinnie’s

“From our initial contact with Kirk and the team of contractors that were engaged to carry out the scope of works we felt confident that our ideas and vision of what we wanted to achieve was in good hands!

The Springfield store has been the Western Brisbane Diocesan flagship store since opening in early 2016. For this reason, we were focussed on expanding the store at the already successful location. We were keen to minimise disruption to trade and the timeline that FAL and Push Construction and Queensland Air conditioning developed with Vinnies team supported our goals.  This close collaboration enabled a great partnership from the outset.

This collaboration ensured the project was completed ahead of time, with minimal disruption to our services in the local community. Despite some unforeseen challenges on our end, the team worked with us overcome these obstacles – nothing was too much trouble!

We are delighted to report that the community response and customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and consequently, sales and donations have exceeded expectations. Our volunteers are enjoying having a custom-built work area in which to process donations, and after all their hard work, are also pleased to have a more spacious area in which to relax.
